Ranch + art

A Little More Ranch. A Lot More Texas.

The Texas Cabin sits right on the Creekwood ranch, where cattle and horses are part of the landscape, and you may also spot some of the ranch’s wild visitors — from wild turkeys and rabbits to aoudad and the occasional porcupine.

But step inside, and you’ll find something a little unexpected. The cabin is comfortable and welcoming, with thoughtful touches and an eclectic collection of artwork from artists connected to the region. Lee’s own work is displayed alongside pieces by other local artists, including Ann Crouch’s work and reproductions of works by beloved Texas artist Jack Sorenson.

It’s a place where the landscape outside and the art inside both tell a story about this part of Texas.

Your home away from home

Settle In. Stay Awhile.

After a day exploring Palo Duro Canyon, wandering around Canyon, or simply taking in the sights of the Texas Panhandle, the Texas Cabin gives you a comfortable place to come back to.

Cook a meal in the full kitchen, challenge someone to a game at the table, settle into the living room with a cup of coffee, or — when the season is right — slip into the hot tub and enjoy a quiet evening under the West Texas sky.

It’s comfortable without being ordinary and connected to the place you’re here to experience.
